Narrating the Game

You describe the world, play everyone in it who isn't a hero (silly voices optional) and decide what happens next. You are the table's eyes and ears, the keeper of trouble, and the heroes' biggest fan, even as you throw problems at them.

The Golden Rules are yours to wield, and two of them, rulings over rules and fiction first, do their heaviest lifting on your side of the fold. A few more principles are yours alone.
